Dear Uzbek people!
The next “presidential elections” scheduled for October 24 this year. are another fraud of the usurper Sh. Mirziyoyev’s criminal group.
Of course, they will nominate their “candidates” for this highest post of the state from their puppet parties, as was the case under the dictator Karimov. And these “candidates” will vote for President Mirziyayev in the same way they once voted for the dictator Karimov.
Laughter and grief.
The bloody regime, which was founded 30 years ago by the dictator Islam Karimov, continues to function today under the leadership of Sh. Mirziyoyev.
This regime has taken the lives of thousands of free-thinking people.
Repressions against dissidents continue today: bloggers, opposition activists and ordinary people who disagree with the policies of Mirziyayev’s regime are being arrested.
October 24 this year the next crime of this regime will be committed, depriving people of the right to vote and to be voted, as it is enshrined in the Constitution of the country.
In the first presidential elections in Uzbekistan on December 29, 1991, the Uzbek people demonstrated their political will by voting for an opposition representative (Erk), which was recently confessed by one of the officials of the then regime.
But then the dictator Karimov falsified the election results and illegally seized power. Then he ruled the country without elections for a quarter of a century, for 25 years.
It must be admitted that after the death of the dictator Karimov, hopes for freedom arose. However, on September 8, 2016, at a joint meeting of the Senate and the Legislative Chamber of the Oliy Majlis of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the incumbent Prime Minister Sh. Mirziyoyev, treacherously violating the Constitution, took over as president. And boldly following in the footsteps of his mentor, on December 4, 2016 he held his elections without the participation of the opposition and consolidated his seized power.
Thus, the people of Uzbekistan were once again deprived of the right to express their political will.
Mirziyoyev, who ruled the country for the past five years, was an illegitimate ruler. As expected, he showed his inability to reform. The Uzbek people continue to live today in the “state of emergency” as they lived under Karimov’s rule.
The society is dominated by poverty, ignorance and, worst of all, despair.
The newly formed political parties were refused registration. Their supporters are subjected to violence everywhere, their constitutional rights are violated. In this situation, any participation of the opposition in the presidential elections is completely ruled out.
In this regard, the Democratic Party of Uzbekistan “Erk” calls on the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) and other international organizations not to send observers to Uzbekistan for the presidential elections scheduled for October 24, 2021, so as not to act against the will of the Uzbek people.
Based on this, the Erk Democratic Party calls on the people of Uzbekistan to protest these fake elections by declaring
A NATİONWİDE BOYCOTT.
Let every citizen of Uzbekistan inform his relatives and friends about the illegality of the upcoming elections.
Dear Uzbek people!
Let’s not succumb to this fake election of the criminal regime!
We ask each of you to pass this Boycott Statement to people, first in your family, then in your workplace, in protest against election fraud.
And let this act of yours be a slap in the face to political crooks who deprived the people of the right to choose!
